Nine Days Safari to Kenya Masai Mara & Zanzibar Extension

Day 1: Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Hotel – Drive to Amboseli National Park – Evening Game drive
The 9 Days Safari to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with a pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Hotel by our Professional driver guide from Paradise Adventure Vacations who will meet and greet you, he will then brief you about your journey and thereafter drive you to Amboseli National park which is located in the Southern region of Kenya and it’s about 4 hours drive.
Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for relaxation as you await a Night Game drive later which will start at sunset while giving you a perfect glimpse of the Sunset at Amboseli National Park. You will go on the drive with an armed park ranger and spotlight torches to help you spot nocturnals while hunting and feeding on their prey, like Lions, bat-eared foxes, serval, hyenas, cheetahs, Leopards and also Hippos while feeding on short grass. You will then return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Morning Game drive – Maasai Cultural Encounter
After delighting on your delicious breakfast, you will start day 2 of your 9 Days Safari to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension with an early morning game drive. You will drive through the dry savannah plains in search for wildlife species like elephants, Wildebeest, Leopards, Zebra, Hippo, Giraffe, warthogs, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, hartebeests, dik-dik, kudus, jackals, bat-eared foxes, fringe-eared Oryx, long-necked gerenuks among other mammals while enjoying the stunning views of Africa’s highest snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop in case the weather plays along. You will then return to your lodge for a hearty lunch and relaxation. Later in the evening, you will proceed to the Maasai community living around the park to enjoy an Authentic Maasai experience. Later return back to your accommodation for your dinner as well as an overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park – Boat Ride to Crescent Island
Your day 3 of the 9 Days Safari to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with an early morning mouthwatering breakfast and thereafter check out of your accommodation and proceed for a morning game drive as you exit the park. You will encounter various mammals that you missed out on your previous game drive and then transfer to Lake Naivasha which is a 5 hours’ drive from Amboseli as you enjoy the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, we shall have a stopover for picture moments and then continue to Naivasha.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for a hearty lunch and then later embark on a rejuvenating boat ride on this Great Rift Valley fresh water lake amidst various hippos to the crescent island. You will have various wildlife to view while at Crescent Island including zebras, giraffes, elands, wildebeest, impalas, water bucks among others. Late you will return back to your accommodation for your dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve – Evening Game Drive
Your day 4 of the 9 Days Safari to Kenya Maasai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will begin with a hot delicious breakfast and thereafter check out of your lodge and transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve which is about 4 hours drive from Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for a hearty lunch and have rest. Later you will proceed for an evening to night game drive with an armed park ranger and spotlight torches to help you see nocturnals in the dark as they hunt for their prey like lions, Leopards, hyenas, Cheetahs and also Rhinos, elephants, hippos while feeding on short grass. Return back later to your lodge for your dinner and an overnight.

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Full day Game Drive
After your delicious breakfast, you will embark on a full day game drive with your packed lunch which will give you an encounter with mammal species like zebras, wildebeests, hippos, giraffes, duikers, impala hartebeests, roan antelopes, topi, wildebeest and Thomson’s gazelles, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and if lucky you will as well spot leopards, lions, hyenas. Later in the evening hours, return back to your lodge with an amazing game drive which will give you sights of more wildlife species to spice up your day. You will then have your dinner and an overnight.
Day 6: Morning Game Drive – Fly to Zanzibar Airport
Your day 6 of your 9 Days Safari to Kenya Masai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with an early morning lovely breakfast and thereafter check out of the lodge and proceed to the park to have an encounter with the Big 5 mammal species including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos. You will as well encounter more mammals like hippos, giraffes, duikers, impala hartebeests, roan antelopes, topi, wildebeest and Thomson’s gazelles among others. Later you will have your delicious lunch and catch a flight to Zanzibar to relax with amazing and beautiful landscapes.

Day 7: Full day Stone Town – Spice Farm – Prison Island
You can take some rest and enjoy this paradise made of beautiful beaches of white sands and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. You will enjoy various activities such as a day tour in Stone Town, Spice Tour and Prison Island.

Day 8: Transfer to Jozani forest for Nature walk – Visit Kae Sunset Beach
Your day 8 of the 9 Days Safari to Kenya Masai Mara & Zanzibar Extension will start with a mouthwatering breakfast and thereafter drive to Jozani Forest which is located in the South east of Stone Town. You will go on a guided nature walk which will get you up close to the red colobus monkeys, bird species and also butterflies. You will have your lunch and transfer to Kae sunset beach where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach.

Day 9: Fly to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your flight back home
Your final day of the safari will have a lovely breakfast and thereafter catch a flight to Dar-Es-Salaam International Airport for your departure flight back home.
