Arrive in Juba

Your guide meets you at Juba International Airport and drives you to your hotel. In the briefing you go over the parks, road conditions and logistics for the trip. You can then rest or take a short drive through the city and along the White Nile riverfront.

In the evening you watch the sun set over the Nile and have an expedition preparation briefing over dinner.

Juba → Nimule National Park

After breakfast you drive south toward Nimule National Park, passing rural villages and Nile viewpoints, with river crossings along the way.

In the afternoon you go looking for wildlife. Antelope such as kob and bushbuck are possible, elephants move through the park seasonally and there are birds along the river. You finish with a sunset game drive and spend the night at a lodge or tented camp near the park.

Nimule National Park

A full day in Nimule. In the morning you drive across savannah plains and riverine forest with your guide tracking and explaining wildlife, with time to watch birds along the Nile tributaries.

In the afternoon you take a nature walk in areas your guide has marked as safe, then relax on the riverbank and take photos. At night there's a campfire dinner with stories from the rangers.

Nimule → Juba → Badingilo

You leave early, drive back to Juba and carry on north toward the Badingilo area. In the afternoon you reach the savannah landscapes of Badingilo National Park, with open plains and seasonal migration corridors, and take a scouting drive. What you see depends on the season.

You spend the night at a remote mobile bush camp under the stars.

Badingilo Plains

A full day in Badingilo. In the morning you drive across the wide savannah. You may see antelope herds, ostriches and giraffes, depending on the season and where the animals are moving, and there are birds in the wetlands and grasslands.

In the afternoon you take things slowly and spend time on photography. If the migration is active, you may be able to see animals on their seasonal routes. The day ends with a sunset over the plains and a bush dinner.

Badingilo → Boma Region

You travel east toward the Boma region. How long it takes depends on road conditions. This is remote country with limited infrastructure, and the expedition is real adventure travel.

In the afternoon you take a scenic drive through the river valleys and remote savannah, tracking wildlife across open terrain. The night is at a remote expedition tented camp.

Boma Landscape

A full day exploring the Boma landscape. You look for seasonal wildlife movement, which depends on the time of year, and cross large open plains and river systems. Few visitors come here, and it's a good place for remote photography.

In the evening you have a campfire dinner far from any town.

Return to Juba

You start the journey back to Juba, stopping at rural settlements and river viewpoints as you leave the wilderness. You reach Juba in the evening to rest and have a farewell dinner.

Depart Juba

After breakfast you check out and your guide takes you to Juba International Airport and helps with departure formalities.
