Category: Remote Safari • Big Cats • Rivers & Floodplains
Destination: Kafue National Park – Central Kafue & Busanga Plains
Duration: 7 Days / 6 Nights
Safari Style: Remote wilderness lodges & seasonal bush camps
Travel Pace: Unhurried, immersive, and wildlife-focused
WHY THIS SAFARI IS UNIQUE
Kafue National Park is one of Africa’s largest and least-explored protected areas, covering over 22,000 km² of pristine wilderness. Unlike busier safari destinations, Kafue offers true solitude, vast landscapes, and exceptional predator sightings without vehicle congestion.
This journey is uniquely designed to combine:
- The riverine ecosystems of Central Kafue, rich in hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birdlife
- The Busanga Plains, a seasonal floodplain regarded as one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife stages, known for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and massive herds of red lechwe
Expect open horizons, cinematic skies, and the rare luxury of being completely alone in nature.
